America is a police state.

America is a police state.

Doesn’t it seem like almost everything is becoming a crime in America now?  Americans are being arrested and charged with crimes for doing things like leaving dog poop on the ground, opening up Christmas presents early, not recycling properly, farting in class and having brown lawns.  But is it healthy for our society for the police to be involved in such silly things?  Every single day the United States inches closer to becoming a totalitarian society.  While there are some that would welcome this shift, the truth is that throughout history the societies that have experienced the greatest economic prosperity have all had at least a certain level of freedom.  Business thrives when people feel free to live and work.  When a government tightens the grip too much many people just start shutting down.  Just look at places like North Korea.  Even though the rest of the world is sending them huge amounts of food starvation is still quite common in that totalitarian regime.  That is why it is so disturbing that it seems like almost everything has become a crime in America now.  As we continue to criminalize relatively normal behavior our slide toward becoming a totalitarian state will only accelerate.

We are throwing anyone and everyone in prison these days.  It is getting absolutely ridiculous.  Today, the United States leads the world in the number of prisoners and in the percentage of the population in prison.  The United States has 5% of the world’s population, but approximately 25% of the world’s incarcerated population.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics, as of the end of 2009 a total of 7,225,800 people were either on probation, in prison or on parole in America.

That is a sign of a very, very sick society.  Either we have a massive crime problem or the “control grid” that our leaders have erected for us is wildly out of control.

Or both.

But how in the world are we supposed to have a healthy economy if our entire nation is being turned into one gigantic prison?

Sadly, it is not just hardcore criminals that are being rounded up and abused by authorities these days.  The following are 14 of the most ridiculous things that Americans are being arrested for….

#1 A Michigan man has been charged with a felony and could face up to 5 years in prison for reading his wife’s email.

#2 A 49-year-old Queens woman had bruises all over her body after she was handcuffed, arrested and brutally beaten by NYPD officers.  So what was her offense?  The officers thought that her little dog had left some poop that she didn’t clean up.

#3 A 56-year-old woman who was once a rape victim refused to let airport security officials feel her breasts so she was thrown to the floor, put in handcuffs and arrested.

#4 In Milwaukee, one man was recently fined $500 for swearing on a public bus.

#5 Several years ago a 12-year-old boy in South Carolina was actually arrested by police for opening up a Christmas present early against his family’s wishes.

#6 In some areas of the country, it is now a crime to not recycle properly.  For example, the city of Cleveland has announced plans to sort through trash cansto ensure that people are actually recycling according to city guidelines.

#7 A 12-year-old girl from Queens was arrested earlier this year and taken out of her school in handcuffs for writing “Lex was here. 2/1/10″ and “I love my friends Abby and Faith” on her desk.

#8 Back in 2008, a 13-year-old boy in Florida was actually arrested by police for farting in class.

#9 The feds recently raided an Amish farmer at 5 AM in the morning because they claimed that he was was engaged in the interstate sale of raw milk in violation of federal law.

#10 A few years ago a 10-year-old girl was arrested and charged with a felony for bringing a small steak knife to school.  It turns out that all she wanted to do was to cut up her lunch so that she could eat it.

#11 On June 18th, two Christians decided that they would peacefully pass out copies of the gospel of John on a public sidewalk outside a public Islamic festival in Dearborn, Michigan and within three minutes 8 policemen surrounded them and placed them under arrest.

#12 A U.S. District Court judge slapped a 5oo dollar fine on Massachusetts fisherman Robert J. Eldridge for untangling a giant whale from his nets and setting it free.  So what was his crime?  Well, according to the court, Eldridge was supposed to call state authorities and wait for them do it.

#13 Once upon a time, a food fight in the cafeteria may have gotten you a detention.  Now it may get you locked up.  About a year ago, 25 students between the ages of 11 and 15 at a school in Chicago were taken into custody by police for being involved in a huge food fight in the school cafeteria.

#14 A few years ago a 70 year old grandmother was actually put in handcuffs and hauled off to jail for having a brown lawn.

Why in the world would anyone approve of the police arresting ordinary Americans for such things?

It seems like ever since 9/11 the whole country has gotten “security fever”.

Suddenly we need to “get tough” on everyone.

Yes, crime is making a comeback, but once upon a time the police in this country were able to handle crime quite well and be courteous and helpful to ordinary citizens at the same time.

But today it seems like nearly every single encounter with police ends up being negative.

It does not have to be that way.

The rest of the world sees what is going on in this country and many of them are deciding that they simply do not want to spend their tourist dollars here anymore.  That is not a good thing for our economy.

As the government continues to get even bigger and exerts even more control over our lives, many of our own people are getting sick of it and are moving abroad.

America used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave.

That is no longer true.

Now we get thrown to the floor, handcuffed, beaten and arrested for things that we did not even know were crimes.

If America continues to move in this direction it is going to ruin our economy, our reputation in the world and our national spirit.

Unfortunately, history has shown us that once a free nation starts to lose that freedom it is hard to reverse that slide.  Perhaps we will be different.  Perhaps the American people will stand up and demand that we restore the principles of liberty and freedom that this country was founded on.

CIA water-boards a man 183 times in unauthorized action

CIA water-boards a man 183 times in unauthorized action

Washington- Jay S. Bybee, the former head of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel, testified before the House Judiciary Committee on May 26th, exposing cruel and unauthorized methods of torture used on detainees suspected of terrorist activities. The transcripts, released on Thursday, tell the story of inhuman methods used to extract information from prisoners accused of terrorism. Under the George W. Bush Administration, non sanctioned forms of torture were used against detainees on numerous occasions. One prisoner was waterboarded 183 times.

Bybee stated that the CIA had crossed the permitted line in its use of unauthorized torture techniques. In his memo, waterboarded was authorized only if there was no “substantial repetitions” of the technique performed against the same prisoner. Khalid Sheik Mohammad was waterboarded 183 times despite Bybee’s memo. The details regarding the number of waterboarding sessions were based on government documents brought to the House Judicial Committee’s attention. Mohammed was one of the accused masterminds in the September 11th attacks on the United States.

Waterboarding is an insidious method of torture meant to simulate drowning. It has remained one of the most controversial methods of torture. While supports of this information extraction technique claim that the method produces needed results, humanitarian and human rights groups defend detainee’s rights to fair treatment. Other unauthorized techniques used include diapering detainees, forcing detainees to defecate on themselves, extended periods of isolation, hanging detainees from the ceiling from hooks and daily brutal beatings. When asked about the unauthorized use of these techniques, Bybee answered “that’s right.” When one lawmaker asked “if the answer was yes?” he replied “those techniques were not authorized.”

When further pressed on the issue of unauthorized interrogation techniques, Bybee replied “testimony reveals that many brutal techniques reportedly used in CIA interrogations were not authorized by the Justice Department.” The fact the Bybee was the author of these memos and had admitted so on the record, provided damning evidence against the CIA’s cover up of their illegal activities. Bybee’s statements will be extremely useful to the investigation into detainee abuse. The case will examine whether or not individuals involved in the interrogations went beyond the guidelines originally designated to prevent such incidents.

The U.S. Attorney’s office is close to finishing their preliminary review which will determine whether or not CIA agents or outside contractors broke the law by using inhuman and extremely painful interrogation techniques. However, an investigation may not resolve the problem. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. stated that a criminal investigation didn’t guarantee that interrogators would face criminal charges. President Obama, who banned waterboarding, stated that CIA agents acting under the legal advice of the Justice department would not be prosecuted. As a government that has fought against countries who use such hideous torture techniques on a regular basis, are we setting a double standard?

The biggest problem facing the intelligence community is the timely gathering of useful information. Most critical information comes with an inherent countdown clock. Once the clock hits zero, the information is worthless. When the information is in reference to an attack, time becomes the most important factor working against the investigator. If a thousand lives are at stake, does the intelligence community have the right to use any means necessary to save lives? This issue is far from being solved and will continue to be debated by intelligence experts and humanitarians alike.

Meet The New Borg: Google, Facebook & Apple
The Google Borg

Google started as that lovable search engine that found what you wanted. Google still finds what you want, but to some, it feels much less lovable these days. The company has assimilatedmany web sites with nanoprobes like AdSense and Google Analytics. It sends vehicles to snap pictures of homes and businesses on every continent of the world. It has even entered our living rooms through Google TV.

The Facebook Borg

First, Facebook was a way for college students at Harvard to hookup. Then it moved to other colleges. Then it opened to the world. Then it couldn’t be contained within its own walled garden. Facebook broke lose, assimilating the web through “Like” buttons or personalization code that helps sites like Bing better absorb you. 500 million drones strong, Facebook keeps adding more to its collective.

The Apple Borg

Once, smartphones were for stylus-wielding nerds. Apple made them cool and usable by mere mortals. The iPhone assimilated millions in wave-after-wave of releases. Even antenna-jamming attempts didn’t really stall it. A larger iPhone emerged, the iPad. And the iPad killed netbooks? Apple’s so powerful it brings the dead back to life, in the form of the MacBook Air.

And Microsoft?

Facebook at 517 million users suppresses ET/UFO disclosure with cointelpro spying, censorship

Facebook at 517 million users suppresses ET/UFO disclosure with cointelpro spying, censorship

With the premiere of a blockbuster movie The Social Network (Tagline: “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies”), social network website Facebook.com - whose approximately 517,760,460 current members now total 7.6 % of the human race – has become the online emblem of virtual society in first decade of the 21st century.

Facebook.com has, by publicly reported evidence, become a covert data mine of Facebook users personal data and habits, at a time when Facebook’s 517 million members now number nearly30% of all 1.9 billion Internet users on the planet.

Facebook.com is more than a covert data mine.

Facebook.com is, by the evidence, an instrument of information warfare and attack against Facebook users whose actions fall within specific clandestine surveillance guidelines established by DARPA and the U.S. Department of Defense Information Awareness Office.

Facebook.com has, by the evidence, also been used in furtherance of black budget operations such as the April 20, 2010 BP Gulf oil spill.

Investigation has revealed that Facebook.com has denied its users access to critical extraterrestrial disclosure information, and has sabotaged Facebook groups intended for organizing a boycott against BP, the oil giant responsible for the April 20, 2010 BP Gulf oil spill false flag operation, through the use of sophisticated spying and cointelpro Facebook.com software attack techniques.

One of the cointelpro-type attacks carried out by Facebook.com and documented by mainstream media newspaper Politico was against Facebook members who attempted to organize a boycott on Facebook.com against BP, one of the corporate perpetrators of the April 20, 2010 BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill that has devastated the ecology, economy, and population of the Gulf area.

These sophisticated spying and cointelpro Facebook.com software attack techniques could only be employed with the explicit approval of an upper management executive and venture capital level at Facebook.com.    This Facebook.com upper level advertises its easy, open access to U.S. President Barack Obama, one of the largest recipients of campaign contributions from BP, and whose Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, received a $500 million grant from BP prior to joining the Obama cabinet.

Researchers such as Vishar Agarwal have demonstrated the deep interconnection between venture capitalists behind Facebook.com and the Central Intelligence Agency investment front company InQTel, whose Board member Dr. Anita Jones was a former high-ranking official of DARPA and of the U.S. Department of Defense Information Awareness Office.

Facebook.com is the de-facto controlled Internet asset of the CIA and Department of Defense Information Awareness Office (IAO), “The IAO was established after Admiral John Poindexter, former United States National Security Advisor to President Ronald Reagan and SAIC executive Brian Hicks approached the US Department of Defense with the idea for an information awareness program after the [false flag operation] of September 11, 2001.”

Facebook.com, the clandestine manifestation of SAIC and Admiral John Poindexter’s brainchild Information Awareness Office (IAO) that has now infiltrated 77.4% of all 266 million Internet users in North America (all of whom are now Facebook.com members), and has transformed the Internet into a velvet-gloved virtual form of Friendly Fascism, and conditional virtual citizenship.

Facebook.com, CIA, DARPA, and the Information Awareness Office (IAO)

Facebook’s mission, as conceived by InQTel and Dr. Anita Jones, on behalf of CIA, DARPA and IAO, is functionally identical to the original mission of the IAO itself:

The Information Awareness Office (IAO)’s [and Facebook.com's] mission “would be achieved by creating enormous computer databases to gather and store the personal information of everyone in the United States, including personal e-mails, social network analysis, credit card records, phone calls, medical records, and numerous other sources, without any requirement for a search warrant.  This information would then be analyzed to look for suspicious activities, connections between individuals, and “threats”.  Additionally, the program included funding for biometric surveillance technologies that could identify and track individuals using surveillance cameras, and other methods.”

This is a functional description of the surveillance and cointelpro mission of Facebook.com on behalf of its controllers, DARPA, CIA through InQTel and Dr. Anita Jones.

Facebook.com is, by the evidence, both a covert data-mine for U.S. military intelligence, and a cointelpro arm of U.S. military intelligence.  Every single one of Facebook’s approximately 517,760,460 current users is at risk, not only because of Facebook’s ‘public’ privacy policy (devised by guidelines from DARPA’s IAO).

Facebook users are also at risk because of a covert spying and cointelpro network inside Facebook.com’s command and control structure that will implement a cointelpro-like attack upon any Facebook.com user whose actions are deemed to contravene policies of the Central Intelligence Agency and of U.S. Defense Department, who control InQTel, its key venture capital partner.

Facebookcom’s public relations façade

Popular journalism on Facebook.com has been limited to psychological profiles of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as a borderline sociopath, as set out in Rolling Stone’s story The Truth about Facebook, published June 26, 2008.

Facebook-allied venture capitalists like to sport the yuppie whiz-kid look by accompanying Obama to the site of their space rocket launches.  Founders Fund principal Peter Thiel, co-founder with Elon Musk of Paypal (pictured with Obama), provided the initial $500,000.00 in development funding for the Facebook.com prototype rollout.

Facebook, InQTel, and Dr. Anita Jones

The reality of most of Facebook.com’s capitalization, and its integration with the mission of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Information Awareness Office (IAO) can be seen in a video by researcher Vishar Agarwal whose viewership, while high for an Internet video, is less that 1/100th of Facebook.com’s membership:

Facebook conspiracy: Data mining for the CIA

Facebook conspiracy: Data mining for the CIA
Examiner.com article

My loyal readers may recall that DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has some grotesque tentacles: the Information Awareness Office (IAO); TIA (Total Information Awareness, renamed Terrorism Information Program); and TIPS (Terrorism Information and Prevention System).

It is commonly believed that in 2003 an irate American people forced the government to stop these Orwellian command-and-control police state operations—or did they?

Congress stopped the IAO from gathering as much information as possible about everyone in a centralized nexus for easy spying by the United States government, including internet activity, credit card purchase histories, airline ticket purchases, car rentals, medical records, educational transcripts, driver’s licenses, utility bills, tax returns, and all other available data. The government’s plan was to emulate Communist East Germany’s STASI police state by getting mailmen, boy scouts, teachers, students and others to spy on everyone else. Children would be urged to spy on parents.

These layers of the mind control infrastructure were seemingly dead and buried. But was the stake actually driven through its evil heart? History leads us to believe that it was not.

Then shazam here comes the privacy killing juggernaut called Facebook.

Facebook, however, does what Chairman Mao, Joseph Stalin, or Adolf Hitler could not have dreamt of – it has a half billion people willingly doing a form of spy work on all their friends, family, neighbors, etc.—while enthusiastically revealing information on themselves.  The huge database on these half a billion members (and non-members who are written about) is too much power for any private entity—but what if it is part of, or is accessed by, the military-industrial-national security-police state complex?

We all know that “he who pays the check, calls the shots,”  therefore; whoever controls the purse strings controls the whole project. When it had less than a million or so participants, Facebook demonstrated the potential to do even more than IAO, TIA and TIPS combined. Facebook really exploded after its second round of funding—$12.7 million from the venture capital firm Accel Partners. Its manager, James Breyer, was formerly chairman of the National Venture Capital Association and served on the board with Gilman Louie, CEO of In-Q-Tel, a venture capital front established by the CIA in 1999. In-Q-Tel is the same outfit that funds Google and other technological powerhouses. One of its specialties is “data mining technologies.”

Dr. Anita Jones, who joined the firm, also came from Gilman Louie and served on In-Q-Tel’s board. She had been director of Defense Research and Engineering for the U.S. Department of Defense. This link goes full circle because she was also an adviser to the secretary of defense, overseeing DARPA, which is responsible for high-tech, high-end development.

But as bad as the beginning of Facebook is, the parallels between the CIA’s backing of Google’s dream of becoming “the mind of God,” and the CIA’s funding of Facebook’s goal of knowing everything about everybody is anything but benign.

Furthermore, the CIA uses a Facebook group to recruit staff for its National Clandestine Service. Check it out if you dare.

Do not become a victim of this full frontal assault on your personal information.  Think twice about putting your entire life on Facebook or by that matter on any social media site. None of it is ever private.  Everything you put online stays online forever in a server farm somewhere for anyone to analyze you and the people you love.  They do not care about your privacy at all and put great value on uncovering all they can about you. They have an agenda that will become more and more apparent to people as time goes by. Believe it or not there is a great change coming in our culture that many choose to be blind too. The mass loss of liberty and freedom we are experiencing is just a signal to the direction this is all going.

TSA scanners front to implement biometric chips.

You might of heard that the TSA scanners at US airports are a front because the guy that owns part of the company also makes the rules. If you dont know who this is then dont worry, that is not the story. The same guy also claims that the TSA scanners are just a front to implement them in schools and make people used to the idea, they would rather choose the machines than being molested by TSA agents.

Their plan is to see a machine in every school, shopping mall and public building. Just about everywhere. The truth is much worse than that. The TSA machines are a front to make people choose to rather have a biometric chip implanted in them, they will then skip both the patting down and the TSA scanners. Those that refuse will have to go through the scanners or be molested.

A few days ago APA , one of the largest independent pilots associations with a membership of 11,500 told or advised their members not to go through the body scanners as the radiation is dangerous. They were asked to opt in for the pat down instead. A few days on and now the associations, the pilot associations that is want biometric chips for pilots so they can just go through airports without being molested.

It is the pilots that actually call for the program, they want the US government to implement a program under which their identities will be confirmed with the chip or biometric id.

The day before Thanksgiving in the US, there will already be a mass boycott of the body scanners, people will queue for the opt in molestation by TSA officials. Although most know the biometric pass that would be implemented as a “crew pass” it would later be developed into a implantable chip.

So, the question is obvious. The evidence already says that the TSA body scanners and the pat downs are just a front to get people to gladly receive a chip later along the line that will enable them to skip long lines, skip being legally molested and pass right on through to the airplanes.

The Coming World Famine: Will 2010 Be The Year The World Runs Out Of Food?

The Coming World Famine: Will 2010 Be The Year The World Runs Out Of Food?

A “perfect storm” of circumstances is coming together that is leading many agriculture experts to predict that we will soon be experiencing a worldwide food crisis of unprecedented magnitude.  Will 2010 be the year that the world runs out of food?  Record setting droughts, exploding populations and crippling crop failures all over the world are combining to set the stage for a potentially devastating food crisis in the coming year.

Even in such technologically advanced times, the reality is that the food supply is not immune to droughts and plagues.  Even the United States has been dramatically affected.  Just consider the following examples…..

*All time record breaking heat and drought continues to plague the state of Texas. In fact, extreme drought conditions can be found in many agricultural areas throughout the United States this summer.

*If the drought conditions were not bad enough, a disease known as “late blight” is absolutely devastating tomato and potato plants in the eastern half of the United States. The prices for those two staple foods could shoot through the roof, hitting already hurting American consumers really hard.

*In addition, farmers all over the United States are reporting very disappointing harvests. For example, the very weak wheat harvest this year is seriously disappointing farmers across the state of Illinois.

But it is not just the U.S. that is experiencing serious agricultural problems. In fact, the news from the rest of the world is even more troubling.

*Agricultural scientists fear that Ug99, a devastating wheat fungus also known as stem rust, could wipe out over 80 percent of the world’s wheat crop as it spreads out from Africa.

*Harvests all across the globe are frighteningly low. Just check out the following troubling reports from the Market Skeptics blog…..

——

1) Bulgaria harvest will be around 20% lower than last season’s output.

2) Argentine farmers will plant just 2.6 million hectares of winter wheat for the 2009/10 season, a stunning 2.1 million less than was planted in 2008/09 (down nearly 45%).

3) Part of the reason behind lower plantings is a two fingered salute to the government and their export restrictions.

4) Brazil, the world’s third largest wheat importer, bought 51,000 MT of US wheat last week, more than it bought in the entire first six months of the year.

5) With the Brazilian real strengthening against the dollar, Brazilian millers that are being forced to look for supplies are finding US wheat fitting the bill quite nicely.

6) Canadian crop development lags with 60% of winter grains are behind normal development. Spring grains development is even further behind, with 75% of crops affected.

7) Ukraine will only produce 35 MMT of grain this season, 35 percent less than last year.

8 ) 3.3 million hectares of the Russia’s spring crops have been badly damaged by drought. Production this year is seen lower at around 55-60 MMT from 63.7 MMT in 2008.

9) Sugar hit it’s highest in three years last week.

10) The lack of monsoon rains in northern India was the main driver of the rally in sugar. World demand is outstripping supply by over six million tonnes at the moment, and India is set to potentially become the world’s largest importer this year.

11) Spanish wheat output is now projected 32% lower this year at 3.8 MMT.

12) Rain is damaging crops in the UK and across Europe.

——

When you add up all of the recent agricultural news stories it means one thing: a massive food crisis is on the way.

Harvests around the world are going to be much smaller at a time when world demand for food is at an all-time high.

In other words, there are going to be food shortages.

Very serious food shortages.

Are you all starting to get the point.

In just a few months, the world is going to have a lot less food than what it needs.  When people around the world find that they can’t feed their families, there will likely be food riots that will make the food riots of 2008 look like a walk in the park.

In the United States, there will not be shortages of food – at least at first.  But what this will mean is that there will be dramatic price increases at the supermarket.

Are you ready?

Now is the time to ensure that you and your family are prepared for the food crisis that is ahead.

We encourage you to take advantage of the low prices on emergency food that are out there right now while you still can:

The Power of Doing Nothing – Football and Developers

The Power of Doing Nothing – Football and Developers

On average, people say 5,000 words a day and speak 125 words a minute. This means that about 2.8 percent of your time is spent talking and 97.2% in silence. It follows, that in a game of football, although the referee spends a great deal of time running around chasing players and following the path of the ball, he rarely needs to communicate anything – vocally or via body language. Yet conversely, there are many occasions when the fact that the Referee

‘does nothing’, actually imparts a message that says much more than any other form of visual message or sound can communicate. On most occasions, all the Referee needs to do is to be there.

The following scenario expands this concept further.

A Referee went to his instructor and said to him, “I’m having trouble controlling players. Whenever I confront them, it always seems to end in a bad tempered argument that leaves both the player and myself in a bad mood for the rest of the game. Can you give me a remedy for it?”

The instructor said, “Certainly,” and gave the Referee a packet of chewing gum, explaining, “These are charmed pieces of chewing gum. When you officiate your next games, put one piece of gum in your mouth.”

The Referee took the advice given him, and found to his surprise, that there was no quarrelling with players during his next few games.

A month later, after the pack of chewing gum had been used up, the Referee went back to the instructor, and thanked him a thousand times. The Referee told the instructor that he had done such a miracle.

The Referee said, “I do not know what to do to thank you. But I would like you to give me a large supply of that special chewing gum so that it might last me for a long time.”

The instructor answered, “The chewing gum is not necessary, silence is all that is needed.”

This teaches us that very often, we quarrel and invite conflict only because of our speech or because we do something when we don’t need to. Silence (or doing nothing) is a great peacemaker, and when used during confrontation, can sometimes have a much greater impact in diffusing situations (or to impart a message) than any number of words or actions can. The trick, is to know when to speak (or take action) and when not to; and to understand the powerful effect that a message can have when it is communicated silently.

In the world of sports commentary, Dan Maskell, whose golden rule was; “economy of words is what most viewers enjoy”, once caused a near heart attack in an American TV programme with his unashamed pauses during a very brief Tennis commentary stint at Wimbledon for one of the US television networks. And Henry Longhurst, the doyen of golf gassers, apparently once perpetrated a lull so protracted that his director inquired into his earpiece, “Excuse me, Henry, but are you still alive? Longhurst delivered eloquence by merging uncomplicated words with dramatic pauses. He was a master of the silent assist.

Sometimes The Greatest Power of All Is To Do Nothing

Sometimes The Greatest Power of All Is To Do Nothing
Gratitude Rocks

Not exalting the gifted prevents quarreling.
Not collecting treasures prevents stealing.
Not seeing desirable things prevents confusion of the heart.

The wise therefore rule by emptying hearts and stuffing bellies,
by weakening ambitions and strengthening bones.
If people lack knowledge and desire,
then intellectuals will not try to interfere.
If nothing is done, then all will be well.

Source: Tao Te Ching, Verse 3

Sometimes the greatest power of all is to do nothing.
Live in gratitude, leave the rest behind.
Stay in process, let go of action.
Live with the question and bring on the post age movement.
